About Me

Dr. Steve Sampson
As a Physiatrist and Osteopathic Physician, I provide a non-surgical and hands on approach to musculoskeletal and sports injuries. My practice emphasizes prevention & wellness while treating the patient as a whole. Through incorporating age old treatments like acupuncture or emerging biotechnology like PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma), I create an individualized treatment plan depending on one’s specific needs. After moving from NYC as Chief Resident at St Vincent Hospital, I joined the Santa Monica Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Group in 2006 to direct the group’s efforts in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. In July 2008 I launched my private practice The Orthohealing Center in Los Angeles, CA which allows me to provide non-surgical healing techniques in a comfortable practice environment. I am continuing to participate in multiple clinical trials on tendon and cartilage disorders to advance the field of orthobiologics. www.orthohealing.com
